Identity for Elseware, a boutique studio in Kochi that makes and curates home, fashion and lifestyle pieces, and runs a store, an online boutique and a craft workshop under one name.
< Brief >
Elseware creates and curates home, fashion and lifestyle accessories, with a physical store, an online boutique and a workshop programme, all built around craft and sustainable making. One name had to carry all of it without splitting into three separate brands.
< Approach >
We built the identity on the name itself. The accent over the e is drawn as a vessel, and that one shape carries everything after it: the monogram, the repeat pattern, the swing tag. The name then splits to hold the sub-brands, Elsewerk for the workshop and Elsewear for fashion, so each offer reads as part of the same house rather than a new one.
