A parent-brand system for Astana, a Kerala hill-station retreat, and every property beneath it.
Full brand system — logo, colour, typography, and pattern — for Astana, a retreat 48km from Calicut and Nilambur, and parent brand to Mauna.
[Brief]
Astana needed one identity that could hold a slow-living retreat and its child brand, Mauna, without either feeling like an afterthought.
[Approach]
The mark draws from a cross-section of a lotus root and stem. We extended it into a full palette — Feldgrau, Reseda Green, Ripe, Battleship, Platinum — paired with Fields Semibold and Protipo.
